Driving Positive Social Impact in Australia

WorkVentures plays a key role in creating positive social impact for individuals and communities across Australia. We combat youth unemployment through our traineeship and work placement programs. We help bridge the digital divide by focusing on digitally excluded communities. We promote a circular economy by combating the environmental impact of e-waste.

By measuring the social impact created through our work and programs, we are better equipped to ensure the success of our endeavours and continue to build and improve.

In 2025, WorkVentures made many significant contributions to communities around Australia.  

We provided over 6000 people with affordable technology around the country. We assisted 50 young people with relevant qualifications and employment.  
We diverted over 116 tonnes of e-waste from landfill.

Protecting the Data of Vulnerable Individuals

Our cybersecurity program is committed to minimising cyber threats faced by NFP organisations. We start with in-depth cyber risk assessments to uncover potential vulnerabilities and areas of concern. Our goal is to safeguard sensitive data and strengthen cybersecurity, ensuring both organisations and the communities they serve remain protected.

Social Inclusion For Young People

WorkVentures’ traineeship and work placement programs provide young people with real-world work experience. We offer trainees the opportunity to explore a career of their choice while completing a relevant qualification and earning a wage. With our ongoing support, we ensure that young people are given the opportunity to succeed.

Reducing The Digital Divide With Sustainable IT Solutions

 WorkVentures is passionate about social and digital inclusion. We support individuals, not-for-profits, and businesses by providing affordable technology. Our devices reach people from all walks of life, and our aim is to ensure that no Australian is digitally excluded.

Circular Economy

WorkVentures supports a circular economy. We refurbish and repair devices to reduce the amount of e-waste in landfill. 

We assist major corporations with extending the life cycle of their technology and provide customised technical solutions.  

WorkVentures has diverted over 3,989 tonnes of e-waste from landfill.  Among the 1,650,000 units collected:
