WorkVentures is overseen by a varied group of board members, each contributing their unique insights and experiences. These directors donate their time, playing a crucial role in guiding the strategic decisions and overseeing the governance of the organisation. Their involvement is essential for setting long-term goals and ensuring that WorkVentures stays true to its mission and values.

Felix Wong

Chair

Felix Wong is an experienced senior executive with over 30 years of experience in the IT and Telecommunications industry. He has held several leadership roles at Ingram Micro Inc, most recently as Chief Country Executive ANZ; prior to this, he was President of Mobility Asia Pacific.  

Felix is also a successful entrepreneur who co-founded Advanced Portable Technologies, a specialised IT distributor. He has been recognised for his leadership and contribution to the ICT Industry through his induction into ARN’s ICT Industry Hall of Fame.

Caroline McDaid

Director and CEO

Caroline is a strategic, commercial and impact-focused executive with experience across the commercial, not-for-profit and social enterprise sectors both in Australia and in the UK. She is recognised for her authentic and collaborative approach to both leadership and partnership. Her 20+ year career has spanned multi-national professional services, media and for-purpose sectors.

Andrew Macpherson

Andrew Macpherson, Bachelor of Industrial Engineering (Honours) UNSW 1978, is an experienced senior executive with strong interests and a wealth of experience using technology to transform traditional businesses. Following 27 years at Accenture, he retired as Regional Managing Director in 2005. Andrew has over 25 years’ experience working in strategic businesses and technology planning. He has been recognised for his specialised expertise in shaping and negotiating complex IT projects. He also has extensive experience living and working in the Asian and European regions selling, negotiating and delivering projects.

Mike Worner

Director

Mike is an experienced senior executive across a broad portfolio of business structures and industries, focusing on financial and operational roles and responsibilities. Over the last 20+ years, Mike has worked as a strategic partner to CEOs across a multitude of industries with a strong history of business turnaround, profit improvement, cultural development, financial sustainability, operational and strategic development, and geographic product/supply expansion.

Mike has had board director, board advisory and company secretarial roles within multi-national and local FMCG, NFP and Fintech businesses. He is currently a company secretary for a not-for-profit and a board advisor for two businesses. Mike has utilised his experience and career development by providing realistic and profound business and financial advice to a multitude of businesses and their stakeholders.

Tamara Pararajasingham

Tamara Pararajasingham is a proud Tamil Australian living and raising a family on Wurunjderi Country. She is the Executive General Manager, Impact and Innovation at Uniting NSW/ACT. This role brings together Tamara’s interests in navigating the intersections of profit and purpose, evidence and creativity, and leadership of both strategy and execution.
