Our cyber one-day Explorer Course is designed to provide a pathway to paid employment. As a technology focused not-for-profit, WorkVentures provides a free course to help you step into your first role in this booming industry.
This online course is available for anyone in the Greater Sydney area and will connect you with like-minded people who share your interests in all things cyber!

Once you’ve completed the one-day Cyber Explorer Course, you’ll be ready to start the free one-month Kickstart boot camp. This course will provide you with a more detailed look into the cyber security world and offer additional assistance to help you launch your career in cyber.
You will learn more about the different roles in cyber security and how each contributes to keeping systems and users safe.
You don’t need any prior experience to be eligible! All you’ll need is your knowledge from the one-day session and a passion for technology.

One-Year Cadetship
one-year Paid Cyber cadetship
Graduates of our Cyber Kickstart are eligible to apply for a one-year paid cadetship with WorkVentures or one of our partner organisations.
This involves 20 hours per week of paid cyber security work, along with 20 hours of study to complete a Nationally Accredited Certificate IV in IT.
WorkVentures is here to here to support you every step of the way. We will provide regular check-ins and will work to ensure that you are reaching your full potential. You will finish your cadetship with a qualification as well as practical experience to help shape your future.
