WorkVentures aims to narrow the digital divide for individuals in disadvantaged and isolated communities. Research has shown that computer literacy is crucial to ensure low income households are not trapped into a lifetime of disadvantage.
We provide:
- free training in computer skills;
- free computer access through our local Connect Centres;
- free community access to computers by working with Community Technology Centres and corporate partners such as Microsoft; and
- low cost computers to Centrelink cardholders, students or not-for-profit organisations.
