Community access to computers
WorkVentures aims to narrow the digital divide by providing access to technology.
We provide free access to computers through our Connect Centres, and support free community access to computers through Community Technology Centres (CTCs) in rural NSW and indigenous communities.
CTCs are community hubs supporting economic, educational, cultural and social life in regional, rural and remote NSW. They use technology as a platform for programs and services, internet access points, training, venue hire, telework opportunities, and economic and community development. Microsoft's Unlimited Potential Program supports the CTCs.

WorkVentures with the support of Microsoft has developed the Work and You website, which provides practical tools and information to help people find a job and locate training.
In July 2008 the Hope Vale Indigenous Knowledge and Technology Centre opened at Hope Vale on the Cape York peninsula. In October 2009 we installed computers in the Binal Mungka Bayan Knowledge Centre in Wujal Wujal, also on the Cape York peninsula. These projects are important milestones in our commitment to technical skills for indigenous and remote communities.
