Connect Centres

Through our Connect Centres, WorkVentures establishes and builds partnerships with local residents, government, business and community groups to directly deliver positive and lasting social and economic change for individuals in highly disadvantaged communities.
Each Centre offers free services to support residents in overcoming personal barriers towards employment and/or self-sufficiency through multi-dimensional approaches, including:
- one to one mentoring
- computer access
- informal and accredited training courses
- life skills courses
- tutoring
- community activities
- free advice to local residents.
The Centres also run specially-designed programs that re-engage at-risk youth in learning so that they complete school, giving these individuals the ability to break the cycle of poverty and disadvantage .
